Todd is a founding partner of MKR, which he co-founded in 1999. He offers clients a distinctive blend of legal expertise and investor relations experience. For 25 years, Todd has focused on advising micro-cap and small-cap companies and providing strategic investor relations counsel. He has developed strong relationships with both the buy-side and sell-side, and his specialization lies in marketing micro-cap and small-cap companies to institutional investors.
Before founding MKR, Todd was a Business Litigation Associate, representing financial institutions in complex commercial litigation and insolvency matters. He is an active member of the California State Bar. Before his legal career, Todd worked in the San Francisco office of Morgen-Walke Associates, supporting client accounts and corporate communications. Todd earned his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 1996 and holds a Bachelor's degree from San Diego State University.
Jim joined the MKR in January of 2006. Jim brings a wealth of experience to the MKR, with over 25 years of experience in investor relations and financial markets. He has provided strategic counsel and created investor relations programs, generating significant tangible results for companies in various industries, including healthcare, business services, technology, telecommunications, and basic industry. He has been honored as a SABRE award recipient for superior achievement in investor relations program development. Before joining the MKR, Jim served as a Vice President with the investor relations firm Financial Dynamics for nearly nine years. Before that, he was an institutional fixed-income executive with Rauscher Pierce Refsnes and was a writer for Time magazine. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Davis.
